The Youth Information Centre provides a comprehensive and user friendly information and advisory service responsive to the personal, social and vocational needs of young people and those who work with them.

The aim of the service is to enable young people to make informed decisions, to help them to avail of opportunities open to them, to realise their full potential and actively participate in community life.

The Cork Youth Information Centre also aims to inform, assist and complement the work of parents, teachers, youth workers and others in the community concerned with the needs of youth. At the Cork Youth Information Centre you are welcome to browse informally through the various reference materials on display, and/or speak to one of the friendly staff trained to facilitate you and answer your queries.

We also have a number of PCs for internet access. Information is available on a comprehensive range of issues, including:

Information Centre staff are available to speak to schools on any of the above topics.
General secretarial services including Curriculum Vitae preparation and photocopying are also available at nominal charge.
